Hattiesburg MS – This amazing rose garden was on the campus at the University of Southern Mississippi. Beautiful old Live Oak Trees and hundreds of roses on the premises!
What an inspiring place to study.
We had such a good time traveling around with Aunt Mary. She has a wonderful garden too, all around her house. I sat in the swing on the back porch and watched an egret feed in the pond. We’re not horribly fond of the Mississippi coastline, but we visited Biloxi and Pass Christian just to see the progress being made since the hurricane. It’s wonderful to see the positive changes that are taking place. Then we enjoyed a wonderful meal at Copeland’s in Hattiesburg on the way home.
