I am so grateful to these dear ladies who allowed me to hold a book signing. They greeted me with great excitement and anticipation!

On Orcas Island, we stumbled upon a beautiful little fishing village where Captain Dave and the Lieber Schwan came to rest. Here I am, sort of in the middle, with my husband Bob on the left, youngest son Todd on the right & his new wife Alyssa on the far left. Captain Dave told us the difference between a fairy tale and a Sailor’s Yarn. The fairy tale begins with, “Once upon a time…” and the Sailor’s Yarn begins with, “This is no B.S…”
Well, this is no B.S…Lieber Haven is a quaint little cove that should not be missed. Everywhere you turn, you see objects of marine art and the sunrise rivals any I’ve ever seen. Thanks, Captain Dave!
