Alive and Well on Google!

I’m alive and well on Google. That says something. I was snooping around in there and found an autographed copy of my book for sale, with the former owner’s name on the flyleaf. I’d kind of like to have that. I was tempted to buy it.

It’s been an interesting year. Hard to believe it’s been a year since the book was published. I have learned so much! One of the most important lessons I learned was to trust in God’s timing. The more I’d try to force things, the more elusive they would become. I’m walking a path, each step bringing me closer to God’s perfect will for my life.
I am so grateful to all of my readers. I have so enjoyed hearing from you this year. Great things are in store for Lady Jael in Book II. It will be out soon, so if you haven’t read Part I, you’d better get busy. You can get an autographed copy, slightly used, on the internet. Just Google my name.

Mississippi in May

Hattiesburg MS – This amazing rose garden was on the campus at the University of Southern Mississippi. Beautiful old Live Oak Trees and hundreds of roses on the premises! What an inspiring place to study.

We had such a good time traveling around with Aunt Mary. She has a wonderful garden too, all around her house. I sat in the swing on the back porch and watched an egret feed in the pond. We’re not horribly fond of the Mississippi coastline, but we visited Biloxi and Pass Christian just to see the progress being made since the hurricane. It’s wonderful to see the positive changes that are taking place. Then we enjoyed a wonderful meal at Copeland’s in Hattiesburg on the way home.

Passage of Time

I suddenly realized that I have not posted anything since…2007! I have been feverishly working on the as yet untitled sequel to The Lady of the Haven.

I can’t wait till its in print.

I am being constantly pestered by readers to know what’s going to happen to Jael next!

Great News!

(Click on the letter to enlarge) I didn’t win the contest, but I got a great review. This is a wonderful confidence booster. As most writers know, it’s tough putting your story out there. You are always wondering what everyone will think about what you have written. Even when you believe it’s great, you’re just never quite certain that others will share your view. Thank you, Judge 99 for the words of encouragement.
